Born 12th September 1957 in Frankfurt, Germany, Hans Zimmer is still, in 2017, one of Hollywood's most famous composers. His first musical appearance was 1979, where he was the the synth programmer for the album 'Star to star'.
In 2001, he composed tracks for the Blockbuster film black hawk down, directed by Ridley Scott. Hans' most recent feature in a blockbuster film was 'Dunkirk' (2017), for which he composed eleven of the films soundtracks.
Zimmer is a very decorated composer, winning a huge mount of awards, from golden globes to his contribution to the lion king, and three grammies for their respective films.
