Cake or Death, practical week one Monday;
Today was a slow but productive process as it was a task of getting the snowball rolling, trying to come up with the structure for a cake and death inspiring song, and by the end of the day we had a full run through of a basic song, that we will use to build on. The song came from a riff, and i added a drum beat that felt like it fitted comfortably with said riff. One issue we encountered was that the style of music we were playing typically uses a double kick pedal. The facilities we were using meant we only had access to a single kick pedal, to work around that, some inspiration came from this video
The first full run through is here, riddled with mistakes from myself, it needs improvement however its an example of what we can build off. This takes much inspiration from the above video as some parts include the loud cutting bell of the ride, as well as the single kick.
Here is the structure for the song, while its the first draft, it is still a good foundation to build on, and we can add/remove aspects that are/aren't needed.
