Gender;
After Googling rock musicians, I tallied that out of 30 musicians, there were 4 females, working out as there being 13% being females and 87% men shown at first glance.
Architypes, Countertypes and how they either present positive or negative stereotypes;
1. If i were a boy - Beyonce; This music video enforces the Countertype of women not being able to do certain jobs, by putting a woman in a job thats stereotypically a male doing, being a police officer, making arrests etc.. however still shows the Architype of women being objectified by having the male police officers view her in a sexual manor.
2. Stupid girls - Pink; In this video, we're presented with women being told what to do and how to act. Some of the Architypes feature showing women with eating disorders, driving badly, carrying small dogs. But then the countertypes carry the message of the video and song, of women running for President, and playing Football, roles stereotypically associated with men.
3. Get away with murder - Jeffree Star; This video is solely based on the sexualisation of men and women. The Countertype in this video is the inclusion of men being the 'sexual object'. usually we see rappers use women in this way, and rarely men are used for this kind of video
4. P.I.M.P. - 50 Cent; Similar to the previous video,
