When rehearsing, its essential that all band members are present. However this was in issue we experienced for 2 weeks where myself and blade were not able to be present for rehearsals due to illness.
This is why there are rehearsal journals for those weeks missing, however there are some important parts that should be spoken about that happened during the weeks.
I researched styles of death metal, but as we were developing a track, blues metal, so more groove based drumming. Looking back at that research, more on 12 bar blues, and using that within metal, shows on our track, as it is a 12 bar blues song, thats slightly heavy, but drifts more towards the 'cake' influence.
