Disabilties within music

Disabilities within music aren't always crystal clear to the naked eye, both physical and mental. A clear example, and probably the most famous example of playing with a disability would be Stevie Wonder. He was born with a condition where his eyes did not grow, causing the retinas to detach, yet has still sold over 100 million records.

Image result for Viktoria ModestaI do agree that disabilities are under-presented within music, but i think thats because we don't necessarily hunt for disabilities, but that may be because performers convey their disability subtly.  Take Stevie Wonder (right), the only noticeable thing are his sunglasses, which he uses to hide his eyes, which in the sun don't look out of place. Take this in contrast with Viktoria Modesta (Below Stevie Wonder), She has no real leg below her left knee. Rather than cover it, she almost wears it as an accessory.

However it could be disputed that with such an extreme disability, she uses it to gain publicity, in an argument that is 'do people only listen to her, because of her disability?' a counter-argument for this would be that she is empowering her disability.
